Trusted Tutors provides a platform for parents and students to find and contact independent tutors.

Where verification badges are displayed, they indicate that Trusted Tutors has completed the specific checks described in the tutor's profile. These checks are limited in scope and reflect the information available at the time they were carried out.

Verification does not constitute a guarantee of a tutor's qualifications, ongoing suitability, teaching quality or ability to work safely with children. A DBS check provides information relevant to its type and date and does not guarantee that a tutor has no criminal history or presents no safeguarding risk.

Tutors operate independently and are responsible for their own teaching services, lesson arrangements and professional conduct.

We encourage parents and students to review tutor profiles carefully, ask questions and satisfy themselves that a tutor is suitable for their individual requirements before arranging lessons.

Trusted Tutors does not automatically award verification badges to tutors who purchase a paid membership.
